By all accounts last year there was a surge of women getting into cryptocurrency. The uptick shows more women are participating than men in Bitcoin. The growth in terms of numbers is as high as 160% in some cases. Women have simply started to beat the number of male counterparts in the Bitcoin trade. The men exceeded the women around the around. According to a study published by BTC, women comprise 43% of all investors in Bitcoin – indicating an increase of 13% from the previous year. Equity Movement Enterprises noticed that most women that join the movement check the Cryptocurrencies box in signing to join the movement.
So despite record-breaking numbers in the stock and real estate markets, is entering investment opportunities and growing interest of a woman in the digital currency? It’s a matter of pride that this industry is becoming more balanced with more women in power than ever before.
